Renaissance 2010 revenue hits $658m

Oman-based Renaissance Services, one of the leading offshore vessel operators in the world, said its revenue in 2010 surged to RO253.4 million ($658.3 million) from RO248 million the previous year.

Announcing the 2010 results at the AGM, Renaissance Services said this marks a tenth consecutive year of year-on-year growth, reflecting the company’s long-term strategy in alignment with the oil and gas industry.

The shareholders approved the company’s financial statements, dividend distribution and other agenda matters discussed at the AGM, including the planned listing of the company’s Topaz business.

The shareholders also authorized Renaissance’s board to approve the timing, pricing and number of shares to be offered by the Topaz Company which will be listed on the London Stock Exchange.

The shareholders also elected the nominated members of the board of directors for a new term of office and approved the company’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) fund for the year 2011 among other agenda matters.-TradeArabia News Service
