Charles Leclerc and RM Sotheby's raise over $460,894 for relief

RM Sotheby’s and Scuderia Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc have raised over €429,600 ($460,894) from the ‘Charles Leclerc for Emilia-Romagna!’ charity auction, which will benefit some 20,000 displaced people living in Emilia-Romagna.
 
The auction featured Leclerc's race-worn helmet, race suit, boots and gloves from the 2023 Monaco Grand Prix.
 
Setting a world record as the most expensive racing helmet to ever sell at auction at €306,000, The Bell HP77 full-face helmet was specifically created for the event and worn by Leclerc in the 2023 Monaco Grand Prix. 
 
One-off items
The race suit and boots were also one-off items created for Monaco, with bold red-and-white styling resembling the Monaco flag. Leclerc’s race suit sold for an incredible €61,200, and his race-worn boots for €20,400. Leclerc's rain-stained gloves sold for €42,000.
 
The success of this auction not only reflects Leclerc's immense talent and contribution to motorsport but also demonstrates the generosity and support from enthusiasts worldwide.
