Dubai International Rally set to flag-off
DUBAI, November 18, 2015
The Dubai International Rally 2015 is set to flag-off on November 19 from Dubai Men's College, at the Higher Colleges of Technology campus in Dubai International Academic City.
To commence proceedings, the 37th edition of the UAE's longest running international sports event will host a press briefing to provide the media with additional information and insights about the route for the two-day speed stages in Maliha, Al Dhaid, and Kalba areas.
The press briefing will be headlined by Mohammed ben Sulayem, president - Automobile and Touring Club UAE (ATCUAE) and FIA vice president; and Dr Hashim Al Zaabi, director of DMC, in addition to a number of rally drivers including Sheikh Khalid Al Qassimi, Sheikh Abdullah Al Qassimi, Michel Saleh, Mohamed Al Mutawaa and Abdulaziz Al Kuwari.
The entry list for the Dubai International Rally 2015 will comprise eight UAE rally drivers from a total line-up of 17 entrants that include Rashid Al Ketbi from UAE, Khalid Al Suwaidi from Qatar, Salah Bin Eidan and Mishari Al Thefiri from Kuwait, and Omiros Terezopoulos from Cyprus. - TradeArabia News Service
