A new visa appointment and fee payment system will be implemented by the US Embassy in Bahrain next week.

It will make it easier for applicants to schedule their visa interviews and check the status of their application, reported the Gulf Daily News.

Applicants will pay a total fee of $160 for their visa interviews through Citibank prior to scheduling their appointment.
