As part of the ongoing co-operation between Zain Bahrain and Bahrain News Agency in media services, BNA will transmit the Social Media Club Conference 2011 live on November 26 through its Live service on its website.

BNA director Muhanad Sulaiman said during a meeting with Ali Sabkar, Social Media Club – Bahrain Chapter chairman that it is keen on supporting the important event, which is the biggest social media event to be held in the kingdom by providing all the services related to BNA accounts on the social media networks.

Meanwhile, Ali Sabkar praised the standards achieved by BNA in the electronic media field as it will transmit special events related to the conference live on its website and on Facebook to give the opportunity to users of the worldwide web to follow the event, a statement from the company said. 

The Social Media Conference 2011 will be held in Bahrain for the first time with the sponsorship of telecom giant, Zain Bahrain, under the theme “Think Social”.

It is considered one of the biggest social media events to be held in the Gulf in 2011 as it attracts 24 international speakers representing major social media, technology and telecommunications companies from around the world, the statement said.

They will review the success stories of local and overseas companies in this field. The event will include a number of presentations, workshops and discussion sessions lasting a whole day on at Elite Hotel, in Muharraq, it said. – TradeArabia News Service
