Top Indian lady cop to visit Bahrain

India's most famous police officer Dr Kiran Bedi will visit Bahrain next month.
The first woman Indian Police Service (IPS) officer and Ramon Magsaysay award winner, Dr Bedi, will be the guest speaker at the inaugural programme of the Indian Ladies Association's new executive committee.
Dr Kiran Bedi has time and again been voted one of the most influential Indians and most admired Indian woman.
She is best-known for her high moral values and reformist zeal that saw her introduce 'Art of Living' and yoga lessons to hardened criminals in India's infamous Tihar Jail.
Dr Bedi is an author of several books, anchors radio and television shows and is a columnist, besides being founder of two non-governmental organisations, Navjyoti and India Vision Foundation, which work in the areas of drug abuse treatment, schooling for children of prisoners, in addition to education, training, counselling, and health care to the urban and rural poor.
