OSN to offer exclusive access of MGM content in Mena

DUBAI, March 2, 2016

OSN, a leading pay-TV network in the Middle East and North Africa (Mena) region, is set to offer viewers in the region exclusive access to the expansive rooster of movies and future television series from Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios (MGM).
 
The renewed long-term deal between OSN and MGM, builds on the longstanding partnership that has kept OSN’s loyal subscribers entertained with access to new and classic movies from the MGM stable, said a statement.
 
The continued partnership will allows subscribers to continue to enjoy the entire James Bond film library from Albert R Broccoli’s EON Productions and MGM, from 1962’s Dr No to the 24th adventure, Spectre, making OSN the number one choice for Bond fans in the region. 
 
The alliance also gives viewers the opportunity to enjoy more than 175 Academy Award winning films including 14 Best Pictures from the prestigious studio. 
 
All these and more, will be available for OSN subscribers across all platforms, including OSN’s the award-winning catch-up service OSN Play, and Go online TV service.

The new long-term deal marks the next level in the partnership between the two industry leaders. OSN will now have first and second pay window rights for MGM movies including its vast library of classic movies, said the statement.
 
OSN will also has first-access for over-the-top rights to MGM movies on OSN Play, the catch-up platform for anytime, anywhere entertainment, and GO Online TV by OSN. 
 
All future first-run TV series and mini-series from MGM will reach Mena first and exclusively for OSN subscribers. - TradeArabia News Service
