AdZouk named advertising representative for Shablol

DUBAI, December 23, 2014

AdZouk, an innovator in premium online advertising, has signed a deal with Shablol, a leading Arabic language web portal and safe social network for kids.

AdZouk will be the sole campaign booking source for media agencies, advertisers and marketers wishing to target the specialist Arabic audience attracted by Shablol, said a statement.

Jamie Atherton, managing director, said: “We are both proud and excited to partner with Shablol on an exclusive basis. Affiliating with such a unique and rapidly growing website is testament to AdZouk’s position in the market as leaders in digital advertising. We expect to see a lot of premium advertising activity on the site as well as superior campaign performance.”

Shablol offers children aged six to 14 the chance to create their own avatar and temporarily ‘live’ in a safe fantasy world. While on their journey, kids can explore the website’s comics, chat to peers in the forums, play games and read the latest news, said the statement.

Jozef Atrash, chief executive officer and founder of Shablol, said: “AdZouk is our first choice for securing premium and highly customised interactive advertising campaigns. Shablol is the #1 Arabic website for the youth of the middle east that allows kids to learn, create and have fun in a safe moderated environment with over 1.3million registered users and 2 million unique visitors each month.

“Shablol's ad spaces are highly creative and uniquely designed to engage with early adopters throughout their virtual experiences with us. Advertisers can display their campaigns through advergames, news articles, virtual world presence, competitions and much more. We needed an advertising representative that understands our media along with the unique possibilities for advertisers and know that AdZouk has the tools and the resources to do this.” - TradeArabia News Service
