Bahrain summer fest to kick-off on July 31

The sixth annual Bahrain Summer Festival is set to kick-off on July 31 under the theme 'Summer of Colours'.
The festival is a melange of art, theatre, music and dance, bringing together talented artists and performers from around the world, said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.
It will kick-off with a Cirque Dreams Jungle Fantasy show, which will run from July 31 to August 2 at 7pm at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre (BIECC), followed by two extra shows at 11am and 7pm.
Dora the Explorer and her friends in Dora's Pirate Adventure will be staged on August 7 at 5pm and extra shows are planned for August 8 and 9 at 10am and 5pm and on August 10 at 5pm.
On August 16 and 17 at 7pm, Bahrain's audience will feel the power and energy of high-voltage international street dance sensation Blaze.
Little festival fans can look forward to a summer of endless giggles and fantasy fun with six shows of Nickelodeon's interactive musical Dora's Pirate Adventure and four shows of the all-new family theatre experience Freej Aboodâ's Dream from August 21 to 24. Both shows will be at the BIECC.
Get ready for a wild evening with Chico and the Gypsies, the latest project of Jahloul 'Chico' Bouchiki, co-founder of the legendary French crossover band The Gipsy Kings on August 26 at 8pm.
Bahrain Summer Festival promises a lot of fun activities and entertainment for the whole family with circus acts, musicians and theatre companies from around the world.
A concert by internationally-acclaimed Iraqi singer, musician and composer Ilham Al Madfai will be held at the Cultural Hall on August 13 and 14.
