Top Heavy Metal band to perform in Abu Dhabi

American Heavy Metal band, Avenged Sevenfold, will perform at a special show in Yas Island, Abu Dhabi on May 4.
The concert, which will be the culmination of the band's tour of the Far and Middle East beginning in Tokyo on April 16, will take place at the Flash Forum, a statement from Flash Entertainment said.
Avenged Sevenfold has established themselves as one of the biggest rock and roll acts in the world, and this will mark the first time ever the band has performed in the UAE.
The band's 2010 album Nightmare was debuted at #1 internationally.
“We are excited to go back to the Far and Middle East,” said Avenged Sevenfold front man M Shadows. 'We played to some of the most amazing crowds when we toured the album there, and we can't wait to bring our live show back to our friends in those regions.”
The band has toured around the globe selling out arenas and headlining major international festivals. It has played to nearly 1,000,000 people in the last two years.
Their breakout album City of Evil and the Live In The LBC DVD have both been certified platinum and the band’s self-titled album has been certified gold all over the world.
Mira Sadek from Flash Entertainment, said: “We had many requests from heavy metal and rock & roll music fans in the UAE to bring another great gig to Yas Island. Avenged Sevenfold have a huge fan base and we are excited to host them here in Abu Dhabi for the first time.”
All tickets for the Avenged Sevenfold concert are priced at Dh315 ($85.7), and it will go on sale on March 13, the statement said.
Tickets are also available on www.thinkflash.ae and Virgin Megastore outlets in the UAE.
A limited number of tickets will be available at Dh295 ($80.3) for early purchase only, it said.
For those coming from Dubai, there will be an iMan Bus service available for Dh85 ($23.1) which must be purchased with concert tickets through the website.
Centro Yas, Rotana Yas, and Yas Viceroy Hotel will offer exclusive hotel packages for the concert and are a short walk away from the Flash Forum, it said. – TradeArabia News Service
