MoF strengthens partnership with Dubai foundation
DUBAI, UAE, December 31, 2015
The UAE’s ministry of Finance (MoF) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Dubai’s Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation (MBRF), to strengthen cooperation between the two entities.
The MoU aims to increase coordination in launching initiatives, organising forums, research and knowledge awards as well as creating a supportive environment for knowledge sharing, said a statement from the ministry.
It also provides employees the opportunity to take advantage of administrative leadership expertise, it added.
The memorandum was signed by Musabah Mohammed Al Suwaidi, assistant undersecretary for support services sector at MoF, and Jamal bin Huwaireb, managing director of MBRF, in the presence of other officials.
According to the ministry, the agreement aims to enrich and strengthen information network and knowledge management programmes between both parties, and employ technical and financial expertise to support continuous efforts for development, as well as hold common events and activities.
Commenting on the MoU, Al Suwaidi said: “MoF is committed to strengthening its partnership with different local and federal entities in UAE, including MBRF. This enhances the ministry’s capability to support innovative initiative and achieve sustainable development.”
Al Suwaidi stressed on this partnership’s role in enabling MoF employees to have strong and solid knowledge from Arabic or translated publications at MBRF in financial and development areas. These publications are considered as a key reference to support the sustainable development process.
The MoU will offer both parties employment opportunities for technical and financial expertise, and benefit from knowledge sharing. Employees will also take advantage of distinguished leadership expertise and review most of their distinctive management practices, the ministry statement concluded. -TradeArabia News Service
