London Tube strikes called off

London, May 10, 2011

London Underground drivers have called off strikes set for next week and in June after their union reached an agreement with employers in a dispute over two sacked workers, operator London Underground said on Tuesday.

The RMT union had threatened six days of strikes over the dismissals of the two men who it said were fired because of union activities. – Reuters
