ASRY connects with global energy leaders at Adipec 2024

The Arab Shipbuilding and Repair Yard Company (ASRY) said it has successfully concluded its participation in one of the largest gatherings in the global energy sector, Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (Adipec 2024) held in the UAE capital.
Headquartered in Bahrain, ASRY is the Arabian Gulf’s most experienced maritime repair and fabrication facility founded in 1977.
It operates in four sectors - Ship repair and conversion; Rig repair and conversion and Naval repair and conversion as well as fabrication and engineering - which combined cover all types of vessel repair including jack-up rigs and other offshore assets, as well as fabrication of onshore and offshore industrial components.
Speaking at the leading energy event, CEO Dr Ahmed AlAbri highlighted the significance of Adipec as a vital annual platform for international companies.
The event, he stated, enhances communication with clients worldwide, expands strategic partnerships, and promotes the exchange of diverse experiences, all of which contribute to a sustainable industrial future aligned with technological advancements.
The 40th edition of Adipec attracted key players from the maritime, oil, gas, and energy sectors. It brought together top professionals and industry leaders, providing unique opportunities to discuss the future of energy in the region and explore practical, sustainable alternatives vital for the growth of these essential sectors.
Dr AlAbri pointed out that ASRY's participation was instrumental in exploring and fostering co-operation with several major institutions.
The focus, he stated, was mainly on developing initiatives that enhance energy efficiency within maritime industries.
Dr AlAbri also underscored the importance of technological innovation and the integration of artificial intelligence in the global industrial landscape to create comprehensive technical solutions with a lasting impact.
During the event, ASRY signed a co-operation agreement with Mack Services FZ and Beinit Energy Group Services.
These agreement aims to strengthen both commercial and technical collaboration and attract significant marine and engineering projects, further solidifying ASRY's position as a leading global maritime, industrial hub, he added.-TradeArabia News Service
