The Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) General Command has announced that its air defence systems, through the vigilance of its personnel, continue to confront successive waves of Iranian attacks.
Since the onset of this aggression, the systems have intercepted and destroyed 92 missiles and 151 unmanned aerial vehicles targeting the Kingdom of Bahrain, reported BNA.
The General Command expressed pride in the advanced combat readiness and exemplary vigilance demonstrated by its personnel, commending their sustained operational excellence in defending the Kingdom. It affirmed that the performance of these men provides firm reassurance that the Kingdom's skies remain protected.
The General Command calls upon all members of the public to remain indoors and to venture out only in cases of absolute necessity, exercising the utmost caution for their own safety.
"The public is urged to stay clear of all affected sites and any suspicious objects, to refrain from filming military operations or sites where debris has fallen, to avoid spreading rumours, and to obtain information exclusively from official sources and government media," it stated.
The General Command further stated that the use of ballistic missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles to target civilian objects and private property constitutes a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law and the UN Charter, and that these indiscriminate attacks represent a direct threat to regional peace and security.
