A'Saffa Foods, Oman's largest fully integrated poultry and biggest snack food producer, said that its board of directors has appointed Engineer Mohammed Suhail Al Shanfari as its new chief executive officer.

Currently in charge, Dr Nasser Al Maawali, has decided to retire from his role as chief executive officer. He will remain advisor to the organisation until the end of this month.

Al Shanfari will take over the post from January 1, said a statement from the company.

“I am incredibly happy to assume this new role and build the future of the company. With our dedicated colleagues and industry-leading services, we are all set to meet the rising needs of our customers,” stated Al Shanfari.

“We stay firm on driving lucrative growth with continued stress on quality, innovation, and expansion to capitalise on investor value,” he added.
