DMCA unveils online maritime clusters platform

Dubai Maritime City Authority (DMCA) launched its interactive platform developed to facilitate engagement and communication among local maritime clusters as well as members of the global maritime sector at Gitex 2018.
The Dubai Maritime Virtual Cluster (DMVC), which can be reached via dmvc.ae, provides services include arbitration, training, classification, insurance, finance, brokerage, shipping, ports, shipbuilding and repair, licensing, the establishment of companies in free and non-free zones, marine recreational services, and others.
Amer Ali, executive director of DMCA said:” Following the vision of our wise leadership we work hard to make Dubai a first-class international maritime gateway. With this in mind, we encourage innovation to develop ideas and initiate new services that can facilitate the maritime business using the latest innovations and technologies.”
“We keep abreast of the latest advancements in the maritime sector to help Dubai remain a world major trade hub. For that, we developed DMVC to ensure clients receive the best maritime services. We also launched the Smart Client Mobile Application. It is an application that provides clients with a mobile-enabled channel to access and apply for services like marine craft license and marine craft driving license,” he added. – TradeArabia News Service
