Du launches flexible payment plans for SMEs

DUBAI, December 19, 2016

UAE-based telecommunications service provider du has introduced Essential Business Devices with flexible payment plans which offer small and medium enterprise (SME's) a wide range of devices at zero upfront cost.

By launching this portfolio du enables its SME customers to increase efficiency and cost management with zero upfront fees, while focusing on rapid growth, said a statement.

Customers can avail instalments for as little as Dh35 ($9.5) a month and for zero upfront. The instalment fee will be added on top of existing customers, it stated.

As a global innovation hub, SMEs form a large entity of the UAE’s enterprise landscape contributing almost 60 per cent to the country’s gross domestic product (GDP); however due to external factors, one of the key considerations for SMEs is cash flow, especially when working on a monthly budget.

In response to an understanding of the constraints faced by this vital enterprise segment, du has presented Essential Business Devices with flexible payment plans: 12 or 24 months instalments with zero upfront payments and with 0 per cent interest rate for both new and existing customers, said a statement from the company.

Launching this portfolio, which includes brands such as Apple, Samsung, Sony, HP, Huawei, Ricoh, and Dlink, among many others, enables du to support its SME customers for increased workforce efficiency, improved cost management and connectivity on the go, it said.

The company’s essential business devices are a vast array of branded product solutions, including laptops, printers, LCDs, projectors and mobile devices, among others, it added.

Hany Fahmy Aly, executive VP, enterprise business, du, said: “We are proud to announce the expansion of our device portfolio with essential equipment for SMEs – Essential Business Devices.”

“Our company already has an ongoing strategy to support SMEs as they are huge contributors to our growing economy, and this launch strengthens this strategic direction,” stated Aly.

“Through our device offers and easy instalment plans we are helping our valued customers to minimise their operating expenditure, while maximising efficiency and helping them grow their business. Solutions like these enable us to take a step towards our ambition of being the trusted telecommunications partner for SMEs,” he added. – TradeArabia News Service
