The Dubai Courts has entered into a strategic partnership with Zajel Courier Services for faster, more efficient and accurate postal service delivery of legal documents to its customers.
The collaboration ensures one-day delivery period for Dubai Courts’ individuals, government and non-government customers living in Dubai and two days for those residing in other emirates, said a statement from Dubai Courts.
As per the deal, Zajel will also provide the tracking system to all service providers of the court employees.
The scope of the work includes delivery of correspondence to all government entities, private companies and members of the community, in addition to opening a mini-postal room to be situated at the Personal Status Court building and providing a system for receiving transactions and customer complaints, among others, it said.
Taresh Eid Al Mansouri, director general of Dubai Courts, said the latest partnership with Zajel further paves the way for easier access to the courts’ services and to a genuine, more precise, and faster justice. It will also save time and effort in conducting transactions with the courts in accordance with the best international practices.
As part of its agreement with Dubai Courts, Zajel will oversee the postal service needs of the courts in conformity with business and internal processes, as well as provide a dedicated team of qualified staff trained according to the highest global standards to deliver the services, prepare the transactions and collect receipts in Arabic language from relevant authorities.
"Our latest cooperation with Zajel is part of our contributions to build a strong partnership with the private sector as a fundamental pillar of achieving our nation’s ambitions," stated Al Mansouri.
