Al Maha Ceramics opens Sohar unit

Al Maha Ceramics Company, one of the largest producers of wall and floor tiles in Oman, has launched its new manufacturing unit at the Sohar Industrial Area.

An associate company of Al Anwar Holdings manufacturing ceramic wall and floor tiles, Al Maha Ceramics has a production capacity of up to five million sqm tiles per annum.

 The company intends to hold a substantial market share by bringing in glazed wall and floor tiles in a variety of designs and shades to suit every decor. The tiles are manufactured in keeping with international standards, with designs sourced from leading Italian firms, said an official spokesman.

“As one of the leading producers of tiles in the sultanate we intend to hold a substantial market share in the industry. Now with a range of premium tiles launched in Oman, we are sure that we will fulfill the tiling needs of people in the country,” said general manager Al Maha Ceramics Suresh Deshmukh.

As part of their expansion plans, Al Maha Ceramics will appoint dealers around GCC, India and African regions.

“Our collection and expertise will present both to customers and trade, the world’s latest trends with its innovative designs and large format wall tiles, along with the regular ones,” said marketing manager, Al Maha Ceramics, Mohammad Imran Siddiqui. – TradeArabia News Service
