Emirates Shipping launches China, India service

Emirates Shipping Line has announced the launch of its Hyper Galex II service, providing direct and efficient port connections linking China, India and the Middle East.
Hyper Galex II will be served by six vessels, offering fast services between the rapidly growing trading and commercial centres in these regions. Emirates Shipping Line will provide three out of the six vessels of 2,500 – 3,100 TEU size. The other vessel providing partners on this service are OOCL and TS Line.
This new service is one of the few services in the region which offers a direct connection between Qingdao and Bandar Abbas, as well as Colombo and Xingang, said a spokesman.
It will also open up the only direct route from Mundra into Northern China. This dedicated service will provide customers utmost efficiency with one of the best transit times between Northern China and Dubai, he said.
“Hyper Galex II provides maximum direct coverage between North China, Southeast Asia and the Middle East, to meet today’s surging demand in this rapidly expanding region. The port rotation for the Hyper Galex II will be Shanghai, Xingang, Qingdao, Shenzhen, Hong Kong, Singapore, Port Kelang, Colombo, Dubai, Bandar Abbas, Mundra, Port Kelang, Singapore, Hong Kong, Shanghai.
