Dubai hospitals see over 250,000 patients in H1
DUBAI, August 8, 2017
A total of 250,589 patients visited DHA specialized clinics at Dubai, Latifa, Rashid and Hatta hospital in the first six months of 2017, the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) said.
Dubai Hospital’s specialized clinics were visited by 115,993 patients, 55,563 patients visited specialized clinics at Rashid Hospital, 46,728 visited specialized clinics at Hatta Hospital and 32,305 visited specialized clinics at Latifa Hospital.
The DHA also revealed that 79,053 patients visited DHA emergency Department in the first 6 months of 2017, out of which 21,884 visited the DHA emergency department in Rashid Hospital, 39,014 in Dubai hospital, 16,379 in Latifa Hospital and 1,776 in Hatta Hospital.
Meanwhile, 78,986 patients visited DHA outpatient clinics in DHA hospitals in the first 6 months of 2017, 37,404 patients visited outpatient clinics in Rashid Hospital, 17,357 patients visited outpatients clinics in Latifa Hospital, 15,533 in Dubai Hospital and 8,692 in Hatta Hospital.
A total of 38,042 patients were admitted to DHA hospitals in the first 6 months of 2017, out of which 14,962 were admitted to Dubai Hospital, 13,560 were admitted in Latifa hospital, 7,914 were admitted in Rashid Hospital and 1,606 were admitted to Hatta Hospital.
All DHA hospitals have a high occupancy rate and this reflects the quality of services and the trust that we have built with our patients. At the DHA, the utmost priority is patient centric-care and the authority is continuing to expand its series as well as provide specialized and super-specialized care.
