Belhasa installs HRM system in Dubai hospital

DUBAI, February 15, 2015

Belhasa group of companies has completed installing the first stage of the American Green Technology’s Health Risk Management System HRMS01 at the Al Garhoud Private Hospital in Dubai.

The HRMS01 system raises the levels of medical sterilisation and minimises the probability of an outbreak of hospital-acquired infections (HAI).

Balhasa, a Dubai-based holding company active across a variety of industries, is the exclusive distributor of the American Green technology in the region, including Bahrain, Iraq, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar, and the UAE.

According to the American Centers for Disease Control and prevention HAI is the 4th leading cause of death, above AIDS, breast cancer, and car accidents combined. In addition, it Increases the average stay of a person in hospital from 9 to 25 days.

Danny Bogar, chief executive officer of American Green Technology, said: “We are excited to partner with Belhasa to bring the HRMS technology to the United Arab Emirates”.

He added: “Healthcare facilities like Al Garhoud Private Hospital set a high standard of care by using advanced technologies such as the HRMS to ensure the safety of their patients and staff.  The HRMS is the only environmental disinfection system which works 24/7 unobtrusively against pathogens, viruses, bacteria, and fungi in the healthcare environment with a 99.7 per cent effective rate.   It’s our hope to see healthcare facilities across the Middle East adopt this technology as an extra precaution in fighting Healthcare-associated Infections and Superbugs, as other hospitals are around the world”.  – TradeArabia News Service
