Pampers launches new ‘Sensitive Wipes’

Dubai, December 13, 2007

Pampers has launched ‘Pampers Sensitive Wipes’ that gently cleanse a baby’s skin and leave skin feeling silky soft.

This new product contains ingredients such as chamomile extracts which helps to restore the natural PH balance of the skin.

“Pampers cares for babies’ development through their various stages of growth.  With that in mind, we pair up with experts from around the world to ensure that our products respond to the baby’s various needs in the different stages of development,” said Pampers assistant marketing manager, Abdullah Tashkandi.

Pampers recently conducted a clinical study on sensitive skin babies, newborns, and children who suffer from eczema.  The results proved that ‘Pampers Sensitive Wipes’, which are alcohol and perfume-free with chamomile extracts, helped keep skin soft and smooth and minimized a child’s discomfort during cleaning.

“Discomfort felt by newborns and caused by an unwanted rash can greatly affect a baby’s development.  It is imperative that discomfort be minimised in the early stages by using cleansing products that are gentle on baby’s sensitive areas,” said pediatric advisory at Erfan Hospital in Jeddah Dr Majed Al Sayed. – TradeArabia News Service
