DUBAI, May 15, 2016
Palm Jumeirah, one of the world’s most famous landmarks, proved to be the star attraction at the Dubai Property Show, which opened in London, UK, this weekend.
The Nakheel stand, where a scale model of the award-winning Palm Jumeirah is among the features on display, drew hundreds of visitors including the show’s chief guest, His Highness Shaikh Mohammed Bin Maktoum Al Maktoum, Minister of Plenipotentiary and Head of Economic Affairs at the Embassy of UAE in London, who inaugurated the three-day real estate event, said a company statement.
As platinum sponsor and the largest developer at the show, Nakheel is highlighting the investment opportunities in Dubai through £660 million ($936 million) of real estate at Palm Jumeirah and other parts of the emirate.
Properties available include beachfront homes offering unmatched facilities and lifestyle, luxury high-rise apartments and a range of high quality villas and townhouses, it stated.
Aqil Kazim, the chief commercial officer at Nakheel, said: "We are delighted to take this opportunity to showcase our projects in the UK, and are encouraged by the turnout so far. Britons already account for more than 2,500 of our customers who, collectively, have invested close to £1 billion ($1.4 billion) on 3,300 of our properties."
"We look forward to increasing these numbers while we are here in London," he added.-TradeArabia News Service
