Bahrain minister inspects Isa Sport City project

Bahrain’s Minister of Works and several engineers visited the BD2.7 million ($7.1 million) Isa Sport City project to inspect the progress of phase two of the hostel and administration building.

Essam bin Abdulla Khalaf pointed out that it is one of the most important projects belonging to the General Organization for Youth and Sports and being implemented by the Ministry of Works.

It is aimed at enhancing the sports sector and improving sports infrastructure by constructing fully equipped sports facilities following international standards in the field.

“Phase 2 of the project comprises constructing a two-storey hostel and administration building of 5,000 sq m floor area, substation and associated parking.”

The buildings will include 40 hotel rooms with en-suite bathrooms, 10 office rooms with associated lobbies, three meeting rooms, Majlis and prayer room, cafeteria, games room, and male and female changing rooms with saunas, he added. - TradeArabia News Service
