Cluttons to mark major milestone
Manama, September 19, 2011
Property firm Cluttons is planning a major celebration to mark its 35th anniversary of Bahrain operations.
This milestone has been affirmed by the promotion of Harry Goodson-Wickes, a rising star within the Middle Eastern team and dynamic real estate professional, to head of country team.
The announcement comes at a time when experts in Bahrain are forecasting slow recovery from the unrest earlier in the year.
Cluttons continues to offer a full range of fully accredited real estate services in Bahrain, with an emphasis on effective property management to ensure maximum return for investors, with more than 30 buildings under its management, including the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Almoayyed Tower.
Other services include strategic consultancy, valuations and rental and sales for commercial and residential units, which are offered to a client base that includes major regional banks and high- profile global business groups.
Goodson-Wickes has worked for over eight years with Cluttons, starting in London. He then moved to the Muscat office in 2006 before taking on the role to establish the new Cluttons office in Abu Dhabi in early 2010.
His promotion for Bahrain underlines his commitment to the company, and ability to motivate teams and optimise management structures. His role will be adapted to the restricted real estate context to drive Cluttons' business forward in an innovative manner.
His promotion follows the departure of Tim Glover, who helped establish Cluttons as a credible force in Bahrain over the past four years.
Recent reports have forecast tentative economic growth in Bahrain of three per cent in 2011, less than the 4.5 per cent seen by the Finance Minister in March.
In keeping with the current mood of optimism and forward movement, Cluttons' 35th year will be marked with networking and community events, with a focus on engaging local Bahraini business and schools.-TradeArabia News Service
