Lona unveils $396m Amwaj Waves

Bahrain-based Lona Real Estate has launched its flagship project $396 million Amwaj Waves, the single largest residential development on Amwaj Islands.

Amwaj Waves, located on a $1.5 billion reclaimed island development situated just off the northern tip of the island of Muharraq, offers over 1,000 freehold apartments with luxurious recreational facilities.

Amwaj Waves, spanning a total area of over 287,083 sq m, will feature a wide range of freehold apartments offering residents a new cosmopolitan lifestyle and significant investment returns. 

The First Wave, phase one of Amwaj Waves development and the first to be launched, will feature four stunning contemporary residential buildings consisting of two 13-floor and two 7-floor buildings, giving rise to 299 apartments with scenic views of the sea, the city, and an exquisitely landscaped pool area.

The First Wave also includes over 1,661 square meters of commercial space, said a top company official.

Amwaj Waves development will be launched at the Property Arabia Show 2008, from October 29 to November 1 at the Bahrain International Exhibition Centre.

Amwaj Waves will be distinctive from all other real estate projects as it offers exceptionally high standards to complement the development's distinction as a prime development on Amwaj Islands.

Each wave represents a different phase of the project, creating a total of four Waves or four plots. Amwaj Waves will feature stunning contemporary architectural design with sixteen buildings that give rise to 1,106 apartments with scenic views of the sea, the city, and exquisitely landscaped pool areas central to each Wave.  Each Wave will feature its own recreational facility.
