100 female financial experts attend Bloomberg Riyadh event

More than 100 female professionals in the Saudi financial services sector attended Bloomberg's annual “Women in Finance Network” event held in Riyadh this week.
Building on last year’s successful event, it brought together experts from the United Kingdom and the kingdom to discuss the most relevant issues facing women in finance today.
Topics were wide-ranging, including everything from the impact of reforms on the Saudi economy, and more specifically, the kingdom’s insurance sector, and career tips on how to succeed in financial services.
A number of Bloomberg representatives from London and the Middle East spoke at the event, led by Stephanie Flanders, senior executive editor for economics, while Katherine Garrett Cox CBE - CEO and MD, Gulf International Bank (UK) delivered a keynote address.
Other notable speakers included Muneera AlDossary - CEO, Mulkia Investment; Ghadah Mazi, founder and CEO - Mashurah; and Maria Al Zahrani, group manager of investor relations - Almarai. - TradeArabia News Service
