In the UAE, the financial services industry is currently facing a wave of change thanks to rapid advances in technology, for example, all UAE banks have joined together to launch a digital wallet. We are delighted to be partnering with PayExpo Mena for the insight this summit will bring into the current evolution in the payments industries.”

Among the topics to be covered at PayExpo Mena, Blackberry’s participation will explore the strengths and pitfalls of digital currency, which are very much in their infancy in the region; Emirates NBD’s will address the security issues around payment systems -  Marka VIP - the largest ecommerce retailer in the UAE – will explain what they are doing to stay ahead of the competition, while the speaker from Etisalat will deliver payment leaders predictions.

In addition Khaled Abdul Rahman Al Awadhi, Director of the Dubai Road and Transport Authority (RTA) automated collection systems department, will provide the latest industry updates on Dubai’s achievements as a smart payment city.

Mike Seaman, show director for PayExpo Mena, said: “We’re extremely pleased that ICC-UAE is partnering with this summit and supporting so many payments innovators from the region and across the world on our conference programme at PayExpo Mena. Delegates will certainly learn from the best in their field.”
