Qatar Tourism has joined the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) as a destination member, strengthening its international tourism partnerships and expanding engagement with industry stakeholders across the Asia Pacific region.
The membership was
formalised through a signing ceremony at the Qatar Pavilion during World Travel
Market (WTM) London 2026.
The agreement was
signed by Omar Al Jaber, Chief of Operations Affairs at Qatar Tourism, and Noor
Hamid, CEO of PATA, in the presence of Saad Al Kharji, Chairman of Qatar
Tourism, and Henry Oh, Chairman of PATA.
The membership will
provide Qatar Tourism with access to PATA’s network of destinations, airlines,
hospitality groups, travel companies and tourism authorities, creating
opportunities for knowledge exchange, business networking, research
collaboration and participation in industry programmes and events. -TradeArabia News Service
