Visit Qatar has signed a one-year strategic partnership agreement with Satguru Travel & Tours at World Travel Market (WTM) London 2026 to boost leisure tourism from six priority African markets.

Building on a memorandum of understanding signed at WTM 2025, the agreement will focus on destination marketing, travel trade engagement, holiday package development and visitor facilitation.

Joint campaigns will target four themes: Sports & Competitions, Winter Sun & Outdoors, Family & Festive, and Culture & Celebration.

Satguru, which operates in more than 80 countries and has a physical presence in 42 African countries, will lead market activation, trade engagement and package development. Visit Qatar will provide destination content, campaign direction and its events calendar.

The partnership supports Qatar’s tourism diversification strategy, aiming to strengthen its presence across priority African markets, expand international reach and attract more leisure visitors. -TradeArabia News Service
