Al Sarooj in deal to accelerate Aims Bay Project work

Al Sarooj Development Company has signed an agreement with Musandam Governorate in Oman for the development of vital infrastructure and investment components of the Aims Bay Project, a coastal and tourism development located in the sultanate's Kasab region.

This comes as part of efforts to boost tourism investment and capitalise on the region’s natural and marine assets.

The MoU was signed by Sheikh Abdullah Salim Al Farsi, Wali of Khasab, and Sulaiman Khamis Al Qasmi, the CEO of Al Sarooj Construction on the sidelines of the 'Urban October' event.

The project aims to stimulate economic and tourism activity in Musandam by improving infrastructure and creating investment opportunities.

Initial plans include developing the waterfront, establishing a boat marina and providing tourism and service facilities to enhance the bay’s appeal as a destination for visitors and investors, supporting broader economic development in the governorate, it stated.

The project aims to enhance infrastructure and prepare promising investment opportunities that contribute to stimulating economic and tourism activity in Musandam Governorate by leveraging the natural and marine assets for which the bay is distinguished.
