UAE boutique developer Uniestate is expanding into Abu Dhabi with the acquisition of a 3,000-sq-m development plot on Al Reem Island, as it seeks to grow its residential and commercial development pipeline across the country.
The site, located in the Najmat area opposite Nord Anglia International School, is planned for development as a residential community with family-oriented amenities, said Uniestate in a statement.
The Abu Dhabi acquisition forms part of the company's strategy to pursue additional land acquisitions and joint venture opportunities in the emirate, while continuing to develop projects in Dubai and Ras Al Khaimah.
Uniestate said its Oasis Loft development in Dubai Silicon Oasis is fully sold and scheduled for handover in the fourth quarter of 2026. Its Carmel Residence project in Jumeirah Village Circle has entered the market and is scheduled for handover later this year.

In Ras Al Khaimah, the developer is continuing work on Playa Viva, a waterfront residential project on Al Marjan Island, near the site of the upcoming Wynn Resort.
On the strategic move, Ebrahim AlZaabi, the CEO of Uniestate, said: "Our vast experience in the UAE has taught us the importance of balancing ambition with discipline. Today we're seeing renewed confidence from buyers, brokers, and investors."
"Our response is simple: continue delivering projects, continue investing in growth, and continue creating ownership opportunities that make sense for today's market. The UAE remains one of the most compelling real estate stories in the world, and we are excited about the role Uniestate continues to play," stated AlZaabi.
"Our vast experience in the UAE has taught us the importance of balancing ambition with discipline," he noted.
The company is seeing renewed interest from buyers, brokers and investors and plans to continue investing in new projects and development opportunities, he added.
Founded in 1995, Uniestate operates across the property development cycle, from land acquisition and feasibility studies through design, construction and handover.
The company said it has delivered more than 3,300 units across more than 4.5 million square feet of developed space.
On its future plans, Uniestate said it expects its gross development value to exceed AED500 million ($136 million) by 2028.
The developer is pursuing further land acquisitions and strategic partnerships across the UAE and has an integrated construction capability through Edifice Middle East, it added.-TradeArabia News Service
