The board of directors of Bahrain Chamber has issued a resolution appointing Dr Shaima Abdulla Juma, director of the Chamber’s Legal Affairs Department, as its Acting Chief Executive Officer.
A prominent Bahraini legal professional and corporate leader, Dr Shaima was named the Acting CEO mainly to ensure the continuity of operations, maintain efficient performance and uphold administrative and executive compliance, thereby guaranteeing the continued implementation of the Chamber’s plans and programmes and serving the private sector effectively and efficiently within the framework of the board’s strategy and initiatives.
In addition to her executive leadership roles, in the National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR), she also serves as a part-time member of the Council of Commissioners under Royal Order issued by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
She is an established law lecturer and legal director specialising in Middle Eastern corporate and regulatory frameworks.-TradeArabia News Service
