ARTDOM Riyadh 2026 design platform returns in October

Riyadh will host the second edition of ARTDOM Riyadh, an international forum for contemporary design that brings together architecture, interior and product design, art, real estate development, and the hospitality industry in October.

Following its successful debut in Saudi Arabia, ARTDOM returns with an expanded exhibition, an international congress, new industry initiatives, and an expected audience of more than 6,000 professionals from around the world on October 20 and 21.

The programme of ARTDOM Riyadh 2026 will feature an international exhibition of leading brands, a two-day business congress with world-renowned architects and designers, the launch of new professional initiatives, expanded international cooperation between Saudi Arabia, Russia, and Europe, as well as dedicated programmes for developers, hospitality professionals, and private clients.

The congress will bring together leaders of architectural practices, development companies, hospitality operators, designers, government representatives, and international brands.

Discussions will focus on the future of cities, the implementation of Saudi Vision 2030, new quality standards for public spaces, private architecture, and the hospitality sector.

On the opening day, speakers will explore Saudi Arabia's landmark national projects and the impact of Vision 2030 on architecture and construction. Representatives of OMRANIA by Egis will discuss emerging market demands and new opportunities for international professionals.

Dedicated sessions will also examine the future of hospitality design, premium residential interiors, contemporary approaches to private architecture, and the creation of next-generation public spaces.

One of the highlights of the programme will be Building the Bridges, a strategic discussion focused on strengthening cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Russia in architecture, design, art, and trade. The session will bring together representatives of professional organisations, business leaders, and industry experts from both countries.

International expert community

Since its inception, ARTDOM has been built as an international platform bringing together some of the world's leading voices in architecture and design.Previous editions featured an

ambassador network including Giulio Cappellini, Rossana Orlandi, Draga & Aurel, Hany Saad, Arwa Alneami, Iman Abuljadayel, and Lissa Carmona.

For 2026, ARTDOM is expanding its international expert community with leading architects, designers, gallery directors, and researchers from Saudi Arabia and Europe. This international network plays a key role in shaping ARTDOM's intellectual programme, contributing to special initiatives — including ARTDOM Design Map Saudi Arabia — and strengthening professional dialogue between cultures, disciplines, and international markets.

ARTDOM Design Map Saudi Arabia

One of the flagship initiatives of 2026 will be the launch of ARTDOM Design Map Saudi Arabia — a new international project that will bring together the Kingdom's most outstanding public spaces into a professionally curated design map.

The project is being developed in collaboration with the international architectural community ARCHINET and explores how contemporary architecture, interior design, and cultural

institutions are shaping Saudi Arabia's new visual identity.

Over the course of several months, an international panel of experts will evaluate projects across the country, focusing on destinations that represent excellence in architecture, design,

hospitality, and cultural significance.

Projects will be assessed across six categories:

• Restaurants

• Hotels

• Museums & Art Galleries

• Wellness & Spa Destinations

• Landmark Architecture Projects

• Furniture Showrooms

The winners will be announced during ARTDOM Riyadh 2026. The outcome of the initiative will be the first professionally curated design map of Saudi Arabia. -TradeArabia News Service
