Oman Air has signed a strategic agreement with Takaful Oman Insurance SAOG to offer integrated travel insurance services to its passengers.
Under the partnership, Takaful Oman will serve as the
airline's local travel insurance provider, with global travel insurance
technology company Insurte supporting the platform and ISA Assist acting as the
strategic programme architect.
The new service enables customers to purchase a range of
travel insurance options seamlessly during the flight booking process,
enhancing convenience and travel protection.
Oman Air said the agreement also reinforces its commitment
to supporting Omani businesses and advancing the objectives of Oman Vision 2040
by strengthening In-Country Value (ICV).
The airline highlighted that its spending on local companies
has tripled between 2024 and 2025, reflecting its focus on boosting the
national economy while improving services for travellers.
