The Eastern Region Municipality has reviewed the plan for the second season of the Global City Dammam project, featuring major expansions, global markets, and an interactive fountain, aiming to receive more than 5.2 million visitors.
New destinations include the Asian Village, the Kabayan Night Market, the Future District featuring AI and robotics experiences, and a dinosaur city. A new investment zone will also be created to attract investors, entrepreneurs, and new brands.
Having attracted more than three million visitors during its first season, the project's second season will introduce its largest expansion since inception, with a daily average of 22,000 to 26,000 visitors expected. New additions include redesigned international pavilion facades and the participation of Iraq and Oman for the first time.

The second season will offer 23 international pavilions, five open global markets, 13 restaurants, 60 food and beverage kiosks, and six cafés, alongside integrated entertainment facilities and dedicated parking.
Eastern Region Mayor Fahad Al Jubeir emphasised that Global City Dammam represents a successful model of municipality-private sector partnership, reinforcing the region's position as a leading destination for investment, tourism, and entertainment.
