Vedanta Oil and Gas Limited (VOGL) has been recognised among India’s Best Workplaces 2026 in the Energy, Oil & Gas industry by Great Place to Work India, marking the company’s seventh consecutive year receiving the certification.
VOGL was the only oil and gas company recognised in this
year’s category.
The achievement highlights the company’s continued focus on
building a high-performance workplace culture based on trust, collaboration and
innovation.
VOGL said its investments in leadership development,
employee wellbeing and capability building are aimed at empowering employees
and supporting long-term growth.
The recognition comes as the company enters a new phase
following its listing on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and the Bombay Stock
Exchange (BSE), supported by producing assets, operational capabilities and a
focus on expanding India’s hydrocarbon potential.
As VOGL progresses towards its ambition of reaching 500,000
barrels of oil equivalent per day (boepd) in production, the company said its
workforce will remain central to driving sustainable growth, innovation and
strengthening India’s energy security.
Jim Johnny Gast, Interim CEO, Vedanta Oil and Gas Limited
