Six Senses AMAALA is set to open in mid-July on Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea coast, bringing the brand’s wellness concept to the vast AMAALA destination of desert peaks, mangroves, and coral reefs, and marking its second property in the Kingdom after Six Senses Southern Dunes, The Red Sea.
The resort features
100 suites and villas plus residences designed in a village-style layout
inspired by Saudi coastal architecture and set between beaches, a lagoon, and a
clifftop mesa.
Wellbeing anchors the
experience with a destination spa, longevity and biohacking therapies, Watsu
pools, and sound healing, alongside Eat With Six Senses dining, a sophisticated
non-alcoholic beverage program, and globally inspired restaurants.
Sustainability
underpins the development with renewable energy ambitions, mangrove
conservation, and LEED Platinum targets, while access is via nearby Red Sea
airports and seaplane transfers, expanding its regional presence.
Neil Palmer, COO of Six Senses, said: "At
Six Senses, we have always believed that the moments people remember most are
rarely the ones they planned. They are the conversations that last longer than
expected, the shared meals, the quiet discoveries, and the feeling of having
time for one another again. AMAALA has given us an extraordinary ocean front
setting to bring that philosophy to life. Here, wellbeing is woven naturally
into each day, allowing our guests and our residence owners to slow down,
reconnect, and experience the Red Sea in a way that feels deeply human. As our
second destination in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia following the opening of the magnificent
Six Senses Southern Dunes in 2023, Six Senses AMAALA represents a new chapter
for the brand, where hospitality and regeneration come together to shape a more
meaningful way to travel and live.’’ -TradeArabia News Service
