Visit Qatar has opened registration for the first IRONMAN 70.3 Doha, scheduled to take place at Old Doha Port from March 18 to 20, 2027, marking a major addition to the country's international sporting calendar.

The event is expected to attract endurance athletes and fitness enthusiasts from across the GCC and beyond, reinforcing Qatar's position as a global sports tourism destination.

Early registration offers discounted entry rates for a limited number of participants. The race will feature a 1.9km swim in the waters of Old Doha Port, a 90km cycling course, and a 21.1km run through Doha, showcasing the city's waterfront and iconic landmarks.

An IRONKIDS race on March 19 will add a family-friendly element to the three-day event.
