Oman Air has been awarded the 2026 APEX Best Award for Best Seat Comfort in the Middle East, reinforcing its position as one of the region’s leading premium carriers for passenger experience.
The award was presented to Renata Rached, Vice President of
Guest Experience, Loyalty and Brand, during the Future Travel Experience EMEA,
Ancillary & Retailing event 2026 held in Dublin on 10 June.
This marks the third time Oman Air has won the Best Seat
Comfort category, following previous wins in 2024 and 2022.
In 2025, the airline also received APEX recognition for Best
Food & Beverage and Best Cabin Service in the Middle East, reflecting
consistent performance across multiple service areas.
The APEX (Airline Passenger Experience Association) Best
Awards are based on independently verified passenger feedback and evaluate
airlines across seat comfort, cabin service, food and beverage, entertainment
and Wi-Fi.
"The best measure of any airline experience is how it
is remembered by the people who travel with us. This recognition is therefore
especially rewarding because it is based on genuine guest feedback," said
Renata Rached. "We know that comfort can transform a journey and we are
committed to creating an experience where guests feel relaxed and rested from
the moment they step on board. We thank our guests for their continued
confidence in Oman Air and remain focused on raising the bar for travel in the
years ahead."
Oman Air said the recognition highlights its continued
investment in enhancing the guest experience through spacious cabin layouts,
modern seating design, upgraded amenities and premium inflight dining,
supported by a service-focused approach aimed at strengthening its position in
the competitive regional aviation market.-TradeArabia News Service
