Duetto, a provider of revenue and profit software for the hospitality industry, has announced a strategic co-development partnership with Meliá Hotels International to enhance resort-focused capabilities within its Revenue & Profit Operating System (RP-OS).
The collaboration aims
to transform how resorts manage their commercial strategies by addressing gaps
in existing industry solutions.
This multi-year
partnership combines Meliá’s operational expertise with Duetto’s experience
working with major resort operators.
It highlights Duetto’s
commitment to the resort segment and reflects Meliá’s confidence in its
technology. The announcement coincides with a three-year contract extension
between the two companies—marking the fifth renewal—and supports more than 250
Meliá properties globally.
The first phase of
development will focus on improving wholesale distribution and packaged travel
channels, a key revenue stream for resorts that has traditionally relied on
manual processes and static contracts.
To address this, the
new Tour Operator Module will introduce automation, advanced analytics, and
simulation tools within the RP-OS platform.
These enhancements
will give resort teams greater visibility and control over pricing, promotions,
and inventory management, while enabling more data-driven decisions about the
performance of wholesale partners.
The partnership aligns
with Duetto’s broader mission to unify revenue and profit management across all
property types.
Supported by recent executive hires and a
global rebrand, the company continues to expand the capabilities of its RP-OS
platform to drive stronger financial performance in the hospitality sector.
"Meliá is a
market-leading brand that understands the evolving commercial dynamics of
modern resorts," said Kartik Yellepeddi, Chief Product Officer at Duetto.
"By co-creating resort capabilities, we aren't just adding features; we
are building a new category of intelligence for a segment that has been
underserved by technology providers to date."
"Duetto has been integral to how we understand and drive resort performance," said Borja Velasco, Senior Director of Revenue Management at Meliá Hotels International. "Adding tour operators to that picture will help us anticipate change and drive more profitable growth — and this is just the beginning of what we plan to build together through our partnership." -TradeArabia News Service
