A ministerial committee will assess the economic impact of the hostile Iranian aggression on Bahrain, implementing appropriate measures to support national employment and economic growth.

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, tasked the Ministerial Committee for Financial and Economic Affairs and Fiscal Balance with the responsibility, asking it to submit a report to the Cabinet in this regard, said a Bahrain News Agency report.

This was announced following a Cabinet meeting, chaired by HRH Prince Salman today.

In addition, the Cabinet reviewed the efficiency of services provided to citizens and residents and tasked officials with maintaining and enhancing service delivery under all circumstances.

The Cabinet commended the abilities of the Bahrain Defence Force, the National Guard, the Ministry of Interior, and all military, security, and civilian agencies who have continued to protect the Kingdom and its people to the highest standard.

The Cabinet condemned the hostile Iranian aggression, which resulted in injuries to citizens, endangered their safety, and caused damage to homes. The Cabinet reiterated the importance of adhering to United Nations Security Council Resolution 2817, which condemns such acts as a violation of international law. The resolution further calls for the immediate cessation of attacks and all other hostile acts targeting civilian infrastructure across the region.

The Cabinet reviewed the implementation of the Royal directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the orders of His Royal Highness to provide full compensation to citizens whose homes and vehicles have been damaged by the hostile Iranian aggression.
