Ras Al Khaimah will usher in the upcoming Chinese New Year with a spectacular fireworks display on Saturday, February 8, 2026, at 8:00pm, welcoming the auspicious Year of the Horse as part of the 2026 UAE Happy Chinese New Year celebrations.
Free public parking
will be available at Jais
Parking, located opposite the Al Hamra International Exhibition &
Conference Centre, offering a designated area for public viewing of the
fireworks.
The fireworks display
will be produced by Jeeton Fireworks Group from Liuyang City, one of China’s
leading fireworks companies, presenting the 2026 UAE Happy Chinese New Year
showcase in Ras Al Khaimah.
Cascading
high-altitude waterfalls and double-layered colourful cloud formations create a
dreamy, overlapping effect, while delicate falling colour sequences come
together to form a multi-dimensional visual spectacle.
The show is themed
around auspicious motifs including wealth and fulfilment, “Heaven and Earth
Rejoice in Spring” representing New Year harmony, and “Good Luck in the Year of
the Horse,” reflecting the festive spirit of the zodiac.
The finale is crowned
with brocade crown formations, inspired by “Golden Jade Full Hall”, symbolising
prosperity, abundance, and good fortune, blending vibrant celebration with rich
cultural meaning.
Speaking ahead of the
event, Donald Bremner, CEO of Marjan Lifestyle, said: “Chinese New
Year is a time of community, optimism, and togetherness - values that resonate
strongly with Ras Al Khaimah and with the spirit of the occasion. As we welcome
the Year of the Horse, this celebration reflects our commitment to fostering
cultural exchange and creating memorable experiences for the entire community
to enjoy.” -TradeArabia News Service
