Oman Air receives its ninth Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft

Oman Air—the national carrier of Oman—announced the reception of its ninth Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft.

Oman Air has leveraged the modern technologies and fuel efficiency of this aircraft type to enhance operational efficiency on several of its key long-haul intercontinental routes, including vital destinations such as London, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, in addition to Paris and Amsterdam.

This new aircraft is the third to join the fleet since 2024, in addition to six aircraft that are expected to be delivered in 2027.

This contributes significantly to meeting the increasing demand for travel to and from the Sultanate of Oman, and supports the company's efforts aimed at achieving long-term sustainability and reducing fuel consumption and carbon emissions.

Con Korfiatis, CEO of Oman Air, stated that the Dreamliner is one of the most popular and advanced wide-body aircraft globally, achieving a perfect balance between efficiency, reliability, and passenger comfort.

He added that the addition of the ninth aircraft reinforces Oman Air's continuous commitment to building a modern fleet that supports its network expansion and elevates the travel experience to new horizons.

This modern aircraft features a two-class configuration with 30 seats in Business Class and 258 seats in Economy Class, enabling the company to continue its commitment to providing exceptional travel experiences and comfort for its guests. -TradeArabia News Service
