Tried and Tested: A luxury apartment in the heart of Mayfair
LONDON, 3 hours, 43 minutes ago
TTN had the pleasure of staying at Native Places, one of the UK’s leading Aparthotel lifestyle brands, offering seven serviced apartment locations across cities like London, Manchester, Glasgow, and Edinburgh.
Native Places also manages The Apartment Collection in London, ideal for longer stays, such as when relocating and seeking a "home away from home." In addition to their serviced apartments, they feature boutique hotel options like Native Bankside and Native King’s Wardrobe near St. Paul’s.
During our visit, we experienced Native Mayfair, a charming Victorian-style mews house with 11 thoughtfully designed one- and two-bedroom serviced apartments, including a luxurious 95 sq m two-bedroom penthouse.
Tucked away on a quiet street (Lee’s Place), Native Mayfair enjoys a prime location just two blocks from Oxford Street, London's premier shopping hub. It’s a short 10-minute walk from Marble Arch or Bond Street Tube stations and about 15 minutes from Green Park or Hyde Park Corner. Whether sightseeing, dining out, catching a West End show, or heading to Excel in the Docklands for work (as I did), Native Mayfair’s location made navigating London effortless and stress-free.
Upon our early afternoon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by a friendly concierge, who handed us our keys and guided us to our apartment. For those arriving late, Native provides convenient self-check-in details in advance.
Our 54 sq m Premium One-Bedroom Apartment was a perfect blend of style and practicality. The fully equipped kitchen featured a cooker, microwave, fridge, and washer/dryer, along with essentials like coffee, tea, milk, and bottled water. The spacious lounge and dining area included a cozy sofa with a footrest, a four-seater dining table (great for meals or remote work), and a smart TV for relaxing evenings if you choose to stay in rahter than enjoy Londn's many restaurants and/or nightlife.
The bedroom offered a king-sized bed with side tables, a full-sized wardrobe, a safe, and an ironing board. A dressing table, mirror, and hair dryer added thoughtful touches for longer stays. The bathroom boasted both a shower and a bathtub (a highlight for me), along with high-quality toiletries like shampoo, conditioner, and lotion. Daily cleaning services were also provided.
While my time at Native Mayfair was limited due to work commitments and I couldn't enjoy all the facilities of this well-equipped, comfortable apartment, my husband had the luxury of fully enjoying the apartment’s comforts. Returning to such a welcoming and well-appointed space after a busy day felt like coming home.
For clients seeking a longer stay, traveling with family or friends, or simply desiring more space and home-like amenities, I highly recommend Native Places for your clients who are looking at a longer stay or travelling with family and friends and want more space. It’s an excellent choice for blending the comfort of home with the convenience of a prime location.
