Dubai hotel transforms guest experience with major renovation

DUBAI, 4 hours, 58 minutes ago

Sheraton Mall of the Emirates Hotel, Dubai said it has enhanced guest experience across all facets of the hotel with the completion of its extensive renovation initiative, marking a significant milestone in its 20-year history.

This transformation led by the hotel’s vision to be ‘The World’s Gathering Place’, embodies a contemporary and inviting atmosphere, reflecting the vibrant energy of its bustling location, the hotel said.

“As one of Dubai’s leading properties, the Sheraton Mall of the Emirates Hotel has been a cornerstone of the region’s hospitality landscape since it first opened its doors over 20 years ago,” said Khalifa bin Braik, Chief Executive Officer, Majid Al Futtaim Asset Management Business.

“Attached to the iconic Mall of the Emirates, this hotel has not only been a part of Dubai's skyline but also a significant chapter in the city’s history.

“We aim to create more than a hotel and a mall, but a complete lifestyle hub. This marks one of many physical enhancements that will be announced around the new Mall of the Emirates vision.”

Led by Kristina Zanic Consultants, the renovation reimagines key areas including the lobby, guest rooms, suites, club lounge, business areas, and banquet spaces.

A buzzing lifestyle destination, the hotel boasts an array of dining options including OAnjo, Besh Turkish Kitchen, and Spartan Sports Bar.

“It’s an incredible honour to lead Sheraton Mall of the Emirates Hotel Dubai during such a pivotal moment in its history,” said Sammy Gani, Complex General Manager of Sheraton Mall of the Emirates Hotel Dubai and Aloft Dubai Creek.

“The completion of this extensive renovation goes beyond just a refreshed look. We’ve embraced Sheraton’s vision to become ‘The World’s Gathering Place’, by creating an environment where our guests feel truly connected and inspired.”

The redesigned interiors elevate the guest experience with bright, open spaces and light colour palettes accented by vibrant hues.

Natural materials add warmth and softness, complemented by curated art and accessories throughout, that capture the hotel’s unique character, history, and location.

Inspired by the hotel’s central location, the design centres on the concept of crossroads. This theme is subtly woven throughout, with angled walls, ceilings, and geometric patterns seen in finishes, furniture, and artwork, evoking the idea of intersections and meeting points.

The expanded lobby, now one-third larger, welcomes guests with an elevated design ethos, complete with additional lounge seating, community tables, booths, and studios.

Light neutral marble floors with hexagonal patterns are paired with colourful angular rugs, while a minimalistic metallic mesh chandelier and screens made from colourful cords add subtle illumination and intimacy.

The modern urban aesthetic continues in the guest rooms and suites, featuring a sophisticated black and white colour scheme with blue and ochre accents.

Warm timber finishes, and herringbone flooring add to the homely, residential feel. Refurbished bathrooms offer sleek walk-in showers and a streamlined design, enhancing comfort and luxury.

Reminiscent of a luxury residence, the Presidential Suite, exudes elegance and refinement with a neutral beige and cream scheme, complemented by statement leather headboards, contemporary furnishings, black and white marble accents, and a modern chandelier enhancing the dining area.

The club lounge offers an open and welcoming space with sleek furniture and elegant bar areas in vibrant jewel tones, while expanded business areas now include a new café, meeting rooms, and individual work pods, catering to both social gatherings and private work sessions.

Whether visiting for business or leisure, Sheraton Mall of the Emirates Hotel Dubai invites guests to indulge in a haven of contemporary sophistication and warm hospitality, a statement said. – TradeArabia News Service
