Sharjah Spring Promotions returns for a new edition this week, during which shopping malls in the emirate will be offering discounts on various brands and products, a report said.

The 45-day event, organised by the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), will start on January 3 and run till February 16, said a report in Wam.

The annual event will feature emirate-wide participation in various fun-filled social, cultural, environmental and heritage activities, catering to a diverse range of interest groups.

The event is part of the chamber’s campaigns to support the retail sector in the emirate, the report said, citing Mohamed Ahmed Amin, acting director-general of the SCCI.
