Concorde El Salam Hotel offers special rates for GCC visitors

Concorde El Salam Hotel Sharm El Sheikh, a leading five-star hotel and resort, has launched a series of promotional package rates for the winter season, aimed specifically at GCC residents.

The hotel is offering special packages for the winter season (October 1 to April 30, 2019) starting at only $70 per person per night on a soft all-inclusive basis. There are also special Christmas and New Year packages starting at $85 and $115 respectively with further food and beverage (F&B) discounts for children.

“This is a value-led offer and there are additional onsite promotions at our spa facilities, as well as flexible early check-in and late check-out times, plus upgrade options. We want the whole guest experience to be relaxed and welcoming,” said Moteia Ismail, chairman of the owning company of Concorde El Salam Hotels in Egypt.

The luxury hotel overlooks the Gulf of Aqaba, a unique location with views of the Red Sea and a long stretch of private beach. An oasis among Sharm El Sheikh resorts.

The hotel boasts 725 luxurious guest rooms, with optional gardener sea view rooms, 37 suites comprising of family, junior & three Royal suites. Complementing the family suites, the hotel has four outdoor swimming pools with water slides and many sporting activities.

F&B options include the signature Laguna buffet restaurant and Waterfalls restaurant, both offering an international buffet, Italiano, a romantic Italian restaurant, the beachfront Flame restaurant and the casual Vendom bar, overlooking the sea.

“We are now looking to attract more regional visitors, especially families from the GCC states. We have 37 family suites, excellent leisure facilities and a range of food and beverage outlets, with international buffets and more casual BBQs as well as more formal restaurants serving Arabic, French and Italian cuisine.

“Indeed, our Waterfalls restaurant, rather appropriately, has spectacular views over our man-made waterfalls,” added Ismail.

Egypt’s Red Sea resort destinations, such as Sharm El Sheikh are becoming more and more popular with tourists from the region. Over the next three years, the number of tourists from the Middle East to Egypt will grow by 3 per cent each year to over 1.34 million visitors – an average of 3,670 per day.

In terms of flights, it’s now easier for GCC tourists to travel to Sharm El Sheikh. Saudia operates direct flights from Riyadh and Jeddah to Sharm el-Sheikh International Airport; Egypt Air operates a service from Kuwait and Gulf Air flies in direct from Bahrain.

From Dubai, Emirates and Egypt Air both fly direct to Cairo, and flydubai flies direct to Alexandria, all with connecting flights to Sharm El Sheikh, as does Oman Air from Muscat. - TradeArabia News Service
