Dubai's must-visit places this Eid Al Adha

Dubai is a wonderful place to be to celebrate Eid Al Adha this year with an array of exciting events and activities taking place across the city, from spectacular firework displays and must-see concerts, to fun family workshops and stage shows just to name a few.
Dubai Tourism has listed the emirate's must-visit places for the most memorable Eid celebration.
Dubai Festival City Mall
Dubai Festival City Mall will host a spectacular musical firework display at 9.00pm and 10.30pm on August 22 and 23, making it an unforgettable event to be enjoyed with friends and family this Eid Al Adha. Families can also bring their little ones to Dubai Festival City Mall to meet Pink Fong and Baby Shark at on August 24 and 25. The popular cartoon characters will perform an interactive medley of the most popular children’s songs at 4.00pm and 8.00pm that will keep the kids entertained throughout the Eid Al Adha weekend.
City Centre Mirdif
Families visiting City Centre Mirdif are in for a magical treat with mesmerising performances from acrobats and gymnasts in The Enchanted Circus at Central Galleria. This unmissable, non-ticketed show will take place from August 21 to August 25 at 4:00pm, 6:00pm, 7:30pm and 9:00pm, giving families plenty of opportunities to catch the circus.
Dubai Frame
Visitors to Dubai Frame will be entertained by Ayala dancers, roaming entertainment and giveaways for kids taking place from August 22 to 25. The traditional and interactive activities will take place from 10:00am until 8:00pm each day, making the Dubai Frame a must-visit destination this Eid Al Adha.
Dragon Mart 2
Dragon Mart 2 is sure to entertain families during the week of Eid Al Adha with popular characters from Iftah Ya Sim Sim set to entertain crowds with a fun-filled interactive show. Running from the August 23 to September 1, this space-themed show will involve plenty of energetic dance numbers and songs that the kids will love. For music lovers in Dubai, Balqees will perform a free concert at Dragon Mart 2 on August 24. Balqees will take to the stage from 7:30pm to wow crowds with her melodic songs such as ‘Ya Hawa’ and ‘Mainoun’ to name a few, making it a truly special Eid Al Adha celebration.
Dubai World Trade Centre
Bollywood singing sensation, Sunidhi Chauhan, is also set to take to the stage at Dubai World Trade Centre to entertain concert-goers in Dubai for one night only on August 24. The popular singer will entertain the crowd at Dubai World Trade Centre from 8:00pm onwards, guaranteeing an unforgettable Eid celebration. Tickets can be purchased starting Dh75 ($20.4) from Dubai Calendar.
Modhesh World
Modhesh World at Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) will run until August 25 and forms part of DFRE’s annual summer calendar of festivals and celebrations aimed at positioning Dubai as the summer destination of choice. Modhesh World is open daily from 10:00am to 11:00pm on weekdays and 10:00am to 12:00am on weekends. General admission is Dh25 ($6.8) and children under the age of three, senior citizens and people of determination are welcome free of charge.
Ibn Battuta Mall
Ibn Battuta Mall will be celebrating the 60th anniversary of Space Exploration by Discovery Channel by taking space-obsessed kids and families on an extraordinary journey through the history of space. From the first day of Eid Al Adha until the September 9, Space Exploration by Discovery Channel will host fun and educational live shows and workshops for tiny astronauts in the making.
The Dubai Mall
Especially for Eid Al Adha, The Dubai Mall will be transforming into a celebratory playground, hosting an array of exciting activities and live entertainment for the whole family to enjoy from August 21 to August 24. Kids will have the chance to receive a special gift when they participate in the various arts and crafts workshops hosted by Sheibitna, a much-loved grandfatherly figure from Arabian folklore. The fun doesn’t stop there as The Dubai Mall has a line-up of popular cartoon screenings such as Tom & Jerry and Freej that are sure to excite kids all weekend long.
City Centre Deira
City Centre Deira is bringing all outdoor activity and entertainment inside the mall this Eid Al Adha, with a first-of-its-kind indoors pop-up event running from the first day of Eid until September 30. Indoors will include various food stalls, pop-up shops and a special entertainment zone for live music and movie screenings for all ages to enjoy from 10:00am daily. The fun doesn’t stop there as the Flight Crew Jump Rope will jump-start the action at City Centre Deira from August 21 to 24. This international show is bound to keep families fascinated with the incredibly talented jump rope members entertaining crowds at 3.00pm, 6.00pm, 8.30pm and 10.00pm.
IMG Worlds of Adventure
Visitors to IMG Worlds of Adventure from August 21 to 25 can enjoy plenty of attractions, as the popular entertainment destination will host a fun-filled festival, especially for Eid Al Adha. Guests can enjoy a special street parade featuring dance performances and appearances from IMG’s most popular characters. Kids will have the chance to meet their favourite characters from the Marvel film series and The Cartoon Network, as well as dinosaurs from the Lost Valley. The fun doesn’t stop there as the Boulevard will be home to captivating performances from stilt walkers, unicyclists and acrobats, as well as the popular Max Illusionist making IMG Worlds of Adventure the ultimate place to be over the Eid weekend.
Mercato
Visitors to Mercato are in for a treat this Eid Al Adha with an array of fun-filled family entertainment at the mall, as well as shoppers being in with a chance to win gifts worth Dh2,000 daily. With every Dh200 ($544.3) spent at Mercato from August 16 to August 25, lucky shoppers will be entered into a draw to win incredible daily prizes.
